Where does my food come from and how it was produced?
Is organic food better?
The use of external energy is kept within limits and, for example, artificial fertilizers are avoided. Animals are kept in a species-appropriate and particularly animal-friendly manner, whereby the feed also comes from organic agriculture. Whatever arises is recycled – for example as compost. This activates nutrients and nourishes the soil, which in turn guarantees sustainability and increases biodiversity.
Diverse crop rotation as well as the use of beneficial organisms and homeopathy in animals promote ecological balance and animal health. Synthetic pesticides are not used. Just as little genetically modified organisms or processing aids as e.g. Rennet in cheese production. Farm animals are also not allowed to receive feed from genetically modified organisms. Only around thirty food additives are allowed for organic products – around ten times as many for conventional foods.
ATTENTION INDUCTION COOKER!
Especially as parents, you often spend several hours at the stove every day. So keep your distance! This applies to everyone, but especially to children and pregnant women. The minimum distance here should be 50-80 centimeters.
The same applies to microwave ovens, even if they are better shielded by the window glass.
